The Before and After School Care Certificate program prepares students to work in programs that support school-age children outside of regular classroom hours. Students learn the legal requirements, safety standards and daily operations involved in administering and running before and after school programs.
Through practical coursework, students develop skills in child supervision, activity planning, communication and program management while gaining an understanding of how to create structured, supportive environments for children.

The Early Childhood Educator A.A.S. degree program prepares students for careers working with children from infancy through age 8 in a variety of educational settings. Students develop the knowledge and skills needed to support child development, create engaging learning environments and guide early learning experiences.
The program also builds mid-level management skills for those interested in leadership roles within early childhood programs. Through a combination of coursework and practical experience, students learn about child development, curriculum planning, classroom management and working with families and communities.

The Early Childhood Educator Level 2 Certificate program prepares students to work with children ages 3 to 8 in a variety of learning environments. Students build on foundational knowledge to develop the skills needed to support child development, learning and positive classroom experiences.
Through coursework that combines theory and practical application, students gain experience in child development, early learning strategies, classroom support and working with families and communities. The program helps students develop the skills needed to assist in educational settings and support young children during key developmental years.
