Holly Bartecki, of Chicago, is one of four former 小草影院 students being inducted into the college鈥檚 2019 Alumni Hall of Fame.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a real honor to be included with all of the other prestigious nominees both this year and from previous years,鈥 said Bartecki, who graduated from Moraine Valley in 1982 with an Associate of Arts in business administration.鈥 Moraine Valley, for me, is where it all started in terms of my education and my personal and professional growth. I love Moraine Valley, and I鈥檓 thrilled to be honored in this way.鈥

Now working as the executive vice president of Creative and Strategic Development at Jasculca Terman and Associates, a communications company, Bartecki also teaches in the Marketing and Communications Department at Columbia College Chicago. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Northern Illinois University, a certificate in direct marketing from DePaul University, and a master鈥檚 degree in adult and continuing education magna cum laude from National-Louis University.

Her service to education includes past employment as an assistant dean of Marketing and Enrollment Management and director of Enrollment Management at South Suburban College, and director of Student Activities at Moraine Valley.

Bartecki is a former president of the Dolton South Holland School District 149 Board of Education and former board member for Child鈥檚 Play Touring Theater and the Illinois American Civil Liberties Union. In addition to more than 20 regional and national awards for public relations campaigns and crisis communications planning, she was presented an Illinois Board of Education 鈥淭hose Who Excel鈥 award of merit for school board leadership.

鈥淲e are honored to induct Holly in the Moraine Valley Alumni Hall of Fame. She was very active on campus as a student and has remained a supporter for many years. Her success in her career makes her an outstanding role model for our current students,鈥 said Patti Friend, director of Alumni and Annual Programs for the Moraine Valley Foundation.

Bartecki was inducted into the Alumni Hall of Fame along with Dylan Lloyd, of Chicago; Jos茅 脕ngel Navejas, of Chicago; and Dave Shalabi, of Orland Park.
